Ripple plant hanger

I want to make a plant hanger in a ripple pattern. I can't find one online and I can't figure out how to do the math to convert an afghan ripple pattern to a smaller size. I have this pattern here http://*****************/ripple.html but I'd need it to be a lot smaller obviously :)

Can anyone help?
