I finally decided to "overdye" or "redye" a hank of Wool of the Andes I did months ago-wasn't crazy about the final color.

Anyway, since I was dyeing, I also dyed two hanks of this light sportsweight wool Natalie had sent me some time ago. I have the book "Felted Crochet" and they have a pattern that calls for this, so a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

The olive/rust color yarn (darker in person) is the sportsweight and I used the regular McCormick Food coloring and mixed a yellow, orange and green and this is what I got.

The one on the left is more of the sportsweight, but done with purple and turquoise (McCormick Food Coloring)

The bottom hank is the redye. For this, it was already the fuschia color, so I added two packets of Kool-Aid Blue Raspberry Lemonade to it to give it a little boost. It came out okay.

WOW! Me like! Now I have to play with dyeing, redyeing and making a general mess with foodcoloring.
