Dresser scarf

I am looking for a free, easy pattern to make a dresser scarf using #8 thread and a B hook. I am not a thready, but would love a simple, pretty pattern and any ideas would be appreciated. Yes, Elizabeth, I am too lazy to do a search right now and figured people here would know the tried and true ones (LOL)

It's the long doily looking thing that some people put on their dressers.

I looked and off hand I couldn't fine one, maybe someone else did. I only did a quick search.
I think you could take a rectangle doily or even a placemat and modify it a little.

Okay I found a couple, again you'll have to adjust them to your thread and hook size, I think.
Oh also you could use a runner.
