Many years ago I knew a lady that had a beautiful pattern for a baby blanket. It was so adorable with a picture of a sleeping baby with its bottom up in the air and it said "Shuu baby's sleeping." You could personalize the blanket by inserting a specific name (ie: Shuu Brandon's sleeping.) For years I have been searching craft stores for this pattern to no avail. Does anyone know where I can find this pattern? I did find this similar one on ebay (see sold auction number 8248491755) but the seller has no idea where it came from as she received it out of the magazine.
If anyone can help I would be so appreciative. I have not crocheted for years but I would love to attempt this blanket.
Thanks and God Bless,
Rosey (RoseyG856@yahoo.com)

Hello the pattern I came across is of a teddy bear with it's bottom up in the air (sorta). It says "Shhh... Baby's Sleeping." It is done with an afghan stitch with the "writing" in cross stitch. I found it in Crochet Fantasy magazine November 1987 (I think) it's issue 36.
:think I am not sure if the copyright is up. So I am not sure if I can send a copy to you. I am sure somebody here knows more about the copyright laws than I do and will help us both out.
Hope that helps.

It's still under copyright.
I found issue 36 in this eBay lot.

It says it's June 1987. Would that be right?

Okay... see I knew somebody here would know this copyright stuff better than I. Anyways, about the issue. It says November 36 on the cover, however the copyright is June 1987.
Completely unrelated what the heck ... who thought the blue eyeshadow was a good thing? :lol

I don't know about yours but mine doesn't say any date on the front. It says Number 36 in the top right corner. Then the prices. The date is on the inside.
It's an all summer issue with airy tops and throws. Not something I would think they'd put out in Nov. :)
I don't think it's the one she's looking for anyway. :lol

OMG! Empress, today I rechecked it. :blush Well... It says NUMBER. :blush Boy do I feel like a dork. I was wondering why I thought it said one month on the cover and another inside. I guess I was soo sure. Blame it on the 12 hours shifts I have been working lately along with extra days.

No biggie really. We all have days like that, especially me. I wondered why yours would say Nov. LOL
