I've bought from Smiley's yarns and from Aunt Mary's yarns. Aunt Mary's mill ends is the cheapest yarn around. Smiley's has a great selection.

I like Herrshners and Joann.com. I'm tempted to try patternworks, as I just got a catalog from them. I've also ordered Lion Brand yarn from Hancock Fabrics...PAM

I have ordered from www.knitting-warehouse.com (http://www.knitting-warehouse.com) several times and have been very pleased with them. I just placed an online order on Sunday 2/5 and the order was on my doorstep on Wednesday 2/8.

I just found this website. http://www.yarnbythebag.com/
I've never actually shopped there. Their prices seem pretty good for some of the yarns that I looked at. You do have to buy from 6-10 skeins of yarn, though.

I have just pruchased yarn form www.discountyarnsale.com (http://www.discountyarnsale.com) I was really impressed with them. It took 14 days or 10 working days from the day I ordered till I got the yarn.
Like yarn by the bag, you have to buy 6 skeins at a time, all the same color. This is great if you are working on a blanket or such. Anyway, they ship all over the world and they do not take long to fill and ship the order.:hook

I do most of my shopping at knitting-warehouse.com and Joann's. I think the only reason I shop at Joann's is that I'm a MyPoints.com member and I get points for shopping there--otherwise I think they're a bit overpriced.

I find amazing deals on eBay... just make sure to factor in the shipping and figure out how much you're paying per skein... I've also found things on there that I haven't seen anywhere else... pretty cool!:)

Only because I want my stuff as fast as possible, I stick with ordering my yarn from Joann.com. I get my stuff on average 5 days (which is saying something since it's being shipped from the states to my APO box here in Germany.) When I move back to the states some day, then I might order from other sites...

I'm interested in trying http://www.yarns-and.com/--don't know much about them other than that they're another bulk buying place, but the selection looks pretty fine...
