Does anyone know where I could find a pattern online for advanced or experienced crocheters? I have never attempted one though I think I can do it. But I'll never know if I don't give it a try. I would prefer a freebie but if you know of a favorite that I can find in a store for purchasing I'll look for those too.

Thanks for your help!

Michaels and Lion Brand both tell the skill level on their sites and since you just said patterns rather than something specific here's the links:

http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectList?categoryid=29

http://cache.lionbrand.com/content-crochetPatternIndex.html

Hope that helps. :)

Empress: I did find a couple of patterns on both sites. The most experienced on the Michael's site was Intermediate. I found on Experienced on the Lion Brand site. Thanks for your help.

All: I am continuing to seek any advanced/experienced patterns that anyone else knows of.

It's funny you say that, because last night I posted an idea I have for a more advanced project. I think there needs to be more of it made available. I, too, will be watching this thread to see what others think.

That will be beautiful when you get it worked out. Would love to see the finished product and the pattern when you're through.

Have you checked out the Lion Brand site they have a lot of free patterns, for different levels of crocheting.

Yes I have and found a couple. I think I listed them in a previous post, if you're interested. Have a great day!

Wow, Berroco's website has a lot to choose from. Mostly knits but there are some awesome crochet ideas. (Hope the link works, I'm still trying to figure this out).:think

It has always been my experience that "advanced" patterns require sizing and fitting and/or intricate details like color changes and patterns where intense counting needing to be done.

That's OK. I've never used an advanced/experienced pattern and want to say I've done at least one.
