hi, i was thinking that i would like to maybe try to make something for breast cancer (for my grandmother). some kind of "pink ribbon"
has anyone seen anything?

What about something simple like this:

But you could do it in a pink ribbon yarn. Maybe make it a little wider to make a summer shawl; something to dress up an outfit in the summer. You could even add some bids along one side as trim.

no, a scarf is not what i want. something more like a wall hanging or little blanket/afghan such thing.
doesnt have to be yarn, could be thread. i'm learning to work with this now.
i did make the little pink ribbon last night and it did come out really cute.
