this site is so big and so full of info, that I have a hard time keeping up. Someone here posted a link to a hat that they designed. A pretty brunette crocheter modeling her x stitch bucket hat - made with cotton yarn. Anyway, I loved the pattern, so last night I made one with pink and white denimstyle by Bernat. I LOVE it! The pattern was easy and the hat came out GREAT! I will definately make more of these. I want to make one in a lighter weight ribbon that I can wear in the summer. This one I will send to my sister. I don't have the link here, but I wanted to thank the designer for sharing this pattern. It's wonderful!!!!
I've only been a member here for a few weeks, but I LOVE this site! :manyheart

If this (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6436&highlight=Bucket) is the hat you're talking about, it was designed by one of our very own Admins, Tiffany! I'm sure this will make her feel good, I know it would me!

Yes - that's the one! It's a great pattern and I LOVE it!
Tiffany - its so wonderful! I'm going to send the one I made to my sister, and then I'm going to make a lighter weight one for me (maybe cotton ribbon for the Florida summer - and I never wear hats) and then I'm going to make some for the chemo kids. It's such a nice hat!!! I finished it in one setting and plopped it on my head. My fiance turned around and declared that its his favorite of all the hats I've ever made. :)

Thank you Goldi for pointing me to the right designer so that I could say thanks! :)

Thanks for posting that link! I missed it when first posted but it looks like just the hat for my big head!!! Now to finish at least one more project before I start another one! :hook

Thank you! :blush

It's by far my favorite of my designs because it's the first hat that doesn't make me look like a dork. :lol

Tiffany!
I just made another of your hats using Lion Incredible ribbon. I used a K hook. It came out great. The incredible colors are really rich, and it holds the shape will, but is really light weight. I love it! Finally I've made something that I really want to keep for myself!
I LOVE this pattern!!! :)

I made several of Tiffany's bucket hats using Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn (2 strands held together) as Christmas gifts. I think the photo I posted back in Nov/Dec is buried somewhere in the "Show-and-Tell Accessories" thread. I really love this pattern, particularly because it is made in the round (no slip-stitch lines). It is so easy to make, and I like the ridge that is formed around the top - It's just an overall great looking hat. Thank you again Tiffany, for sharing your great hat pattern. BTW, I like the look of your new site.
