Hi everyone,
I am still collecting 5" pastel baby squares and 7" bright colorful squares for afghans for our ill children of TN. It has been several months since I posted a request for squares. There was a great response to the last request that I posted in the summer of 2005. I received many packages of squares and they have been pieced and donated to our children's hospitals and cancer centers across TN.
If you would like to make squares to donate, you can email me at cedarexotic04@yahoo.com and I will email you with my address to send the squares to.
Here are the specifications for the squares:
5" squares - Please use baby weight, caron soft or sport yarn. Any yarn that is soft and lightweight will be fine. The squares need to be made in soft pastel baby colors and need to measure 5" when they are completed.
7" squares - These squares need to be made in bold, bright, cheerful colors. The 7" squares are used for older children and they usually like the bright bold colors the best.
Please measure your squares and make them the appropriate sizes.
