My grandmother made me dozens of crocheted dresses for my cabbage patch dolls when I was and she has since passed. I love those dresses and I would love to add more to my collection and to my neice's as well.
What I am looking for are patterns for that sized doll or at least an idea of the doll size clothes I should be looking for. I have never made doll clothes and I am lost as to where to start looking. I thought this was a good place . :)
Thank you in advance.

Hello there. I saw some patterns specifically for CPK the other day when I was at my LYS. I can go back and tell you what leaflet numbers they are. I could, if you really wanted to, pick them up and mail them to you.
Or if you are within driving distance tell you where the shop is and you can pick them up. The shop is in McMinnville, Or.

That is really sweet..thank you. I am in no big hurry. The next time you go to LYS and if you remember to get the numbers that would be great, but please don't make a speical trip, again I am in no hurry. I just wanted to get some patterns to start my decision making process of colors, yarns, etc..:scrachin

Thank you, NurseFawg. Also you didn't say who were the makers of the leaflets. Do you remember? Again, thank you.

Have you checked out some of the crochet baby sites? Or maybe some of the crochet for charity sites? You can find some crochet patterns for preemies on those sites.
Think that would fit your Cabbage patch dolls.

This is a great bootie pattern to get your started if you use a baby yarn the size should be just right. For a little girl I like to add ribbon roses to the top toe part and a ribbon for the cord to tie the booties, and a picot edging along the edge of the cuff.

Hummywinger...Thank you for the link..those are so cute.
I never thought about using preemie patterns..duh! I should have thought of that myself.. The dolls are actually bigger than most preemies.
Thank you again. I will be sure to post any pictures if I can figure out how to do it.

Hi! I have a booklet (magazine size) for crocheting "Doll Baby" clothes and Doll Babies with purchased heads. Let me see if I can find it. The dolls they show in it are Cabbage Patch dolls (by any other name). If I find it, would you like it?
