Wouldn't that be a little to thick? I usually use baby yarn. What does the pattern call for? If you use bigger yarn than it calls for be careful. They usually turn out bigger than you'd like.:think

Is DK thicker than WW? I know DK means Double Knit, but that's all I know about DK.:blush
Well, if it's comparable to ww, here are two patterns for booties.

I have a pattern book with all booties, all in WW. Sorry I don't remember the name, but I know there are more than just one out there.

UK Yarn sizes tend to be inbetween US sizes- but generally I use DK when ww is called for or very occasionally aran weight, depending on the pattern.

Well here is my favortie baby bootie pattern I found online to use. And when they are for baby girls I all ribbon for the ties and ribbon roses on the top of the toe part with a picot edging around the cuff part.

I tried to copy and paste a pic of the ones I did but sorry it didn't work.
Will have to work on learning how to do that here ..
