Well, it has been awhile since I have posted anything design related. This (http://crazycrafter.blogspot.com/2006/01/design-trials-aka-valentine-dream-top.html) is what I have been working on. I still have some modifications to make, but am getting closer.

Oh Wendy, that sweater turned out really cute. Could you (gasp, blesphemy!) maybe sew a line of zig-zag stitches about an inch below where you want the sleeve to end? That way you could turn them under and hem them into place. Alternately, you could attach some hem tape before hemming. It would at least save that cute sweater so the little sweetie could wear it!:hug

Cute! I don't think it looks too bad with the sleeves cuffed, either. Just pretend you meant to do that...

Oh, I think that is such a cute sweater! I love the edging along the neckline - so pretty. I also love the matching heart purse - really a cute set!

Thanks everyone! I think next weekend I am going to take the heart motif off and sew it down so it looks more heart shaped. For some reason it lost its definition when I sewed it down the first time. I wonder if I can hem the arms by pulling them in where the arm seam is and then do a slip stitch inside to hold it in place. Since the arm is a tube and does not get wider towards the top, this might work, I don't know. I will play with it next weekend (I am in school right now and don't have as much yarn time as I did a few weeks ago.)
