where do you buy your dyeable yarn?

Is there anything at wallmart I can use? what are your online resorces? Can youdye any 100% wool yarn? Can yall tell me what to do with it?

I can't find wool at my Walmart, but I think if you can find Lion Fishermans Wool it should work. All the wool I have dyed is 100% wool, but I want to try some wool/silk blend, since silk is a protein fiber and can be dyed with koolaid. Cotton, a plant fiber has to be dyed with a different chemical reaction; I used Rit dye for the cotton I did. I get most of my yarn at KnitPicks online; they market a line of Wool of the Andes just for dyeing.
