need easy sock pattern for my oldtimers

hey everyone, I need your help, I teach arts and crafts at a senior citizens home in my home town, My oldtimers ( whom I simply adore ) asked me to teach them to crochet, I have been crocheting for centuries but I never crocheted socks, worse part is that THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT. ANyone have a super easy crochet sock pattern to send me or link me to ? thanks a million :c9 :manyheart
