My fiance really does a good job creating his own patterns for IPod and cell phone cozies. His first few ones were in regular worsted weight yarn, but he found that very bulky. After a trip to Hobby Lobby (where he spent more time agonizing over yarn than I), he found Red Heart Luster Sheen which works really well and is very soft. He's since made a cell phone case for me, but this is his masterpiece. I'm so proud of him! :hook

Of course, now he says he's bored by the endless single crochet... not sure what he'll take up next. :)
