i have written a pattern that is a sz 6 little girl's sweater. the stitches are basic.... but the pattern/assembly... may be somewhat tricky- i'm not sure. i think i'd like to have 2 testers... one with sewing knowledge and one without....
it is made with ww and an H hook (i used RH)

volunteers?

Me! me! me!! I have a six year old and the bare basics of sewing knowledge (translated= I have no clue how to do it :P). :)

Rebecca, would I adapt it to make it longer? My six year old has a long torso, so I need a longer sweater. If so, I'm game (can't sew either)

My daughter is a size 6 as well. I have limited sewing skills and would be considered an advanced beginner crocheter I think.

My daughter is a size 6 also. I'm alright at sewing by hand, but am completely lost when it comes to using a machine. I'm probably an intermediate or advanced crocheter.

Anyway, I'm game if you still need testers! :)

thank you thank you for your response.... while proof-reading my typing this morning, i found 2 errors on the sleeve. i'm going to work it up today and make sure what i thought were errors actually were.....

I have a niece that wears a size 6. I have made several outfits from patterns for my girls on a sewing machine, so I have pretty good sewing machine skills. If you still need another tester, I would be willing to help.

blech - i'm not at all happy with the way this worked out the second time...
hmmmm, i'm not sure what to do with it.....

my first thought is the weight of yarn. i am thinking of trying it in sport weight to see....

still want to test and tell me what you think could be done better?
