An older character-- I don't watch the show much so I don't know if it was grandma or who-- was crocheting. Something happened to make her angry and she yelled-- "watch it, I've got a knitting needle for a weapon" my entire family yelled "crochet hook!" Then the character said, "okay its a crochet hook! But its still sharp"

Needless to say, my family had a great laugh over that!!!:D

That is SO cool!!!! I love when you see actual intelligence in a TV show... like they did their homework and are not 'dumbing it down'! Sounds like a sit-com in itself with your whole family hollaring out "crochet hook" and then the character acknowledging, "well, it's a crochet hook but it's still sharp!" Very clever. :bounce

I often find myself talking to the TV screen when we watch the crime shows, Law & Order, CSI type stuff, 'cause I work in court and they show scenes and I say, "That would never happen." or I'll say "Objection, beyond the scope. Objection, narrative." and my kids will say, 'OH, SHUT up, mom.:tup '

Yeah... My family is a real "talk back to the tv family" especially with crime shows. The "Crochet Hook" thing was just doubly funny.:P
