Right now I'm finishing up a Masculine Squares swap (are you done yet Michelle?), four squares left to finish and mail out on Tuesday. I have a question for those with Blogs....where do I set one up and are there fees?

Laura, there are some blog hosting sites that do charge money, but a good number of them host blogs for free as well. I use www.blogger.com to host mine (free), and there are others that escape me now that also host blogs. There are some that offer free trials but then charge after 30 days, such as www.typepad.com. Any of these (and others) should work fine for you to set up a blog, and feel free to ask questions as we're always happy to help out. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif" />

Hi Laura - Your blog looks great! You can get the buttons and things by right clicking with your mouse over an image and selecting "Save Image As" and saving it to your hard drive. Then you need to use a hosting site such as www.photobucket.com to host the images. I see you are using the blogger.com image hosting, which is fine, but I don't know if they will allow hosting of the smaller button images. If you use photobucket, they will give you the codes you need to use to add the images to your blog.

A really great website that I used to learn basic HTML is this one - <a href="http://www.lissaexplains.com/" target="_new">www.lissaexplains.com</a>. It is written for kids, but I couldn't understand what to do from some of the 'grown up' tutorials. This website helped a great deal. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif" /> She teaches all kinds of stuff, and everything I learned came from that site. Hope this helps, feel free to shout out questions when you think of one (or three). <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rocking.gif" />

Laura, Im finishing up my 16th square and will be doing almost nothing but squares today and tomorrow! I should be ready to mail them out Tuesday...Wed. at the latest. I had to buy more yarn to keep the same color pattern going for my squares!
