Both my sisters have February birthdays, so I made each a bookmark. This is the first time I've made any of these from this leaflet and they were really fun to do. It's the "Monogram & Lace Bookmarks" from Annie Potter Presents. Not real practical for use since they're so fat. Maybe they'll find a use for them. I'm thinking I may do one for my mom for Mother's Day this year.

They are beautiful, but they don't look very good to use for bookmarks, do they? :think Gorgeous work, though.

Beautiful bookmarks. Makes you want to add a clip and make hair clasp with them. Awesome work on them.

:clapThey are so gorgeous they should be worn not stuffed in a book, imho. If they were gifted to me I'd attached a pin or barette.

Those are ABSOLUTELY beautiful.
They may not work as bookmarks, but I'm thinking that they would look lovely mounted on velvet or satin in a pretty gold frame where their beauty could be enjoyed. Just a thought!

OMG, they are gorgeous. I've always wanted to teach myself Irish crochet but I haven't had time and anything thinner than size 30 thread scares me a bit. LOL. You did a beautiful job on the bookmarks. I love them.
Thanks for sharing.

Those are beautiful. I'd love to make them, although I'm probably not advanced enough as a crocheter yet.
What level crochet skill would you call these? Intermediate? Advanced? Just wondering.
Great job!

Claire, I'm not real good at that. Sometimes what I think is really easy, others consider to be difficult. Can you make flowers? If so, no problem. You just make several different sizes of flowers and a couple of sprays and glue them all onto a handle of your choice and in the arrangement you like. That was actually the hardest part, determing how you want it all arranged. :lol
