Hi, My name is Paula and I've just been crocheting for a few weeks. My niece and I wanted to take a class at our local Michaels, but not enough people signed up for it, so we're going it alone for now.

I was very glad to find this site and plan to spend a lot of time reading the posts. I've already asked a question on the 63 Crochet Along topic and hope it doesn't sound too "duh!"

I'm new as well, in fact only started crocheting about 2 weeks ago (if that!)
I took a class at my local Michaels, actually, I was the only one who signed up, but she still sat with me and taught me for 2 hours!
It was pretty nice, one-on-one attention!

Hi Paula, Welcome from Newfoundland!and...... its sunny and cold here too. There is still snow left on the ground around here. Would you believe it! That's the way it is here in Newfoundland.
