I just wanted to introduce myself...
In fact, I just stumbled across this ezboard after trying to find a friendly, current message board about crochet.
And here you all were! :clap

Anyways, my name is Jayme and I'm 24 years old.
I'm originally from Michigan but moved to Florida about 6 years ago.

I will be graduating from the University of Central Florida this July... FINALLY!! :woohoo
with my B.A. in Psychology, but I am also pursuing a career in Real Estate.

I married my best friend and the love of my life on November 29, 2003; after being together for 5 years. My husband, Jeff, is an Architect and is 27 years old.

I have always wanted to learn to crochet, and last Friday I went into Michael's, and took a crochet class. :rollin
She started me on a granny square and I told her I wanted to make an afghan, so my first project is a HUGE granny square afghan, made up of 3 different colors. I don't know all of the crochet stitches yet, but I'm excited none-the-less.
My husband gets a kick out of how much I've worked on it since Friday. :D

Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad I found this board... you all seem so friendly!

I live in Clermont, FLorida (which is basically Orlando).
My husband and I will be moving next year to the west coast of Florida, we're thinking about the Tampa area.
