Finished this "dripping candle in daffodil" last week. It has no purpose other than being cute. I used 4 ply, Red Heart, Super Saver, yarn.
The free pattern can be found, with many others, on the web at 'The Crochet Works.' The designer was Sally V. George.

That is clever. A poinsettia would look cool for Christmas. :D

I love your candle. We have a huge Daffodil festival around my birthday in April, here in Meriden, Ct. I have daffodil potholder's etc around my house and would love to make one of these candles. Can you tell me where you got the pattern or did you design it yourself? If so I would love to have it.

I've seen that site and have always wanted to try to make something from the patterns. After seeing how wonderfully yours turned out, I want to make one tonight when I get home.

Add a crochet poinsettia or 2-3 - or not - and you have a fab Cmas decoration - good job!! Or put in the window as a decoration too so people from outside can see it =)
