Walmart NOBO yarn is now $1.00

I went earlier today and all their NOBO yarn is down to $1.00...Took all they had so tonight i think i will try another to see what they have :clap :clap

Mine only had two types and they only had one color of each for $1 :( But I'll have to try one in another city near me soon, there's 3 about the same distance from my house.

Ours is all gone... I got a LOT when it was on sale for 2.00 and now I want MORE but can't find it!!! I am so bummed... Snag some of this up while you can ladies, who knows how long it's gonna last....

Went to another one tonight and they had tons....Some weren't marked down yet so i left those and a few of the others...

Oh and i noticed the Manestay is being replaced with Simple Soft 12 oz. skeins ...for $3.77

I popped into Wal-Mart after work last night after reading this post and only about 1/2 of the NOBO was $1.00 Several skeins were still $2 and still others were $2.94. I had a gift card with $8 left on it so bought 8 $1 skeins. My DH gets paid today and so I may be able to go back and get another 5 I hope. I am super tired of eyelash stuff so I bought the kind that kind of felt almost like mohair although I'm not sure what it is. I am trying to stock up on the specialty yarns when on sale so that this years scarves and hats for my nieces will be much nicer than the ones I made last year for them.

Since we have 3 Wal-Marts in Ocala and each one of them have different things I'm going to go to the one by work this morning and see what they've got. Thanks for letting us know about this.

Three Olive, maybe all the $1 skeins got sold out where you live? I'll bet the rest of it goes on clearance within the next few weeks as well.

P.S. I made a note to check out the Mainstays while there as another post heard they were discontinuing it. There was only a handful of that left but none of it was clearanced. This particular Wal-Mart is usually good about keeping their yarn stocked so I tend to believe they are discontinuing it. Wish they clearanced it though. Oh well. It's not like my stash is bursting at the seams already! (Not to mention the several bags of yarn I haven't brought in from my car yet! LOL)

$1 that's great! Must stop in soon to check on it. Hopefully they will still have it on Sunday. I usually go to Michaels and JoAnns at the same time and Walmart is nearby. Hopefully my roommate hasn't thrown out my JoAnns ad. Can't wait to see the selection at my Walmart.

Some of it must have sold out because they only had a couple of kinds left, none of it was stuff I wanted anyway.

mine has the full array they had to begin with .. so nothing has been marked down that i have missed still all 2.94.. but it seems my walmart is the last to do anything that the others are doing for some strange reason ..

Now, before I begin to panic and call all my friends to find someone to take me there tonite, can someone tell me what kind of yarn the Walmart's NOBO is? I have never heard of this yarn -- probably because I didn't know until recently that Walmart sells any kind of yarn. Thanks. :-)

I got two Wal Marts here. They had Theirs all marked down to $1.
I racked up on a few myself :lol from both.

My Wal-mart had most of their NoBo down to $1, except one kind of skein which was still $2. But then they had new ones that were not there the other day. They were on small cardboard tubes, thin yarn almost like an eye lash but not as long. Those were $1 so of course, I picked up a bunch of them. Also NoBo brand.

And they did have a sign that said "Mainstays $1.77 is being discontinued. Please do not offer to customers". I spoke to the girl working today and she said yes, it is being discontinued. There were very few skeins left and not on clearance or marked down.

My walmart still has NoBo for full price, and I ask everytime I go by there if they have any yarn on sale. I think this walmart hates to put stuff on clearance because the walmart where I used to live would rather sell something for $.25 rather than have non-selling stuff take up space. Guess I'll just have to wait.

Dang Hobby Lobby and Walmart!!! I didn't escape from Hobby Lobby's sale-read lots of yarn(4 trips,lol) then figured I had enough for awhile-well went to walmart and just had to see if ours had the price down-oh well 20 some odd skeins later... I have a pretty big stash now,lol.:eek

I was just at Walmart. No bo yarn is still 2.94. There were a few 2.00 ones, but I decided to wait for them to discount it more. They now also have big balls in a box that says it has 200 yards of "fashion yarn". I considered buying it, but it is 7 dollars I think. I also didn't like the selection they had either. I also saw the Caron 12 oz skeins. They only had dark purple, white and yellow. I wish they had more colors.

I got 13 skeins for .50 each on Saturday. They had a variety of colors, some I did not like, tho. I may have to go back and get more. :yes
