Yardstick Cover Pattern

I am a beginner and I thought if I could find a pattern for a yardstick cover, that might be an easy project to begin.
If anyone could please help me, I would really appreciate it.

I have a pattern for a yardstick cover, but it's in an older book, and I don't know if I can copy it in any way without violating a copy right or something. But you could probably make one up on your own. Or maybe google it.

Thank you Julee but I did try to google it and still can't find it.
I think I could probably make something up but being so new at crocheting, I am much better following a pattern.
