Does anyone know where I might either find the pattern (I will buy it, it doesn't have to be free) for this shrug? (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=37779.0) She says she got it from a vintage pattern and it's awesome. I don't know how to go about making that design, as I'm still honing my crocheting skills! Thanks for any help!

She explains right in her post that it is just 12 squares with knitted cuffs. Maybe try looking on CPC for a similar motif??

I get the square part, just not the motif. What is CPC?

Link isn't working for me right now.
CPC is Crochet Pattern Central.

Try looking though these for one that's similar.

I was just thinking that the Pineapple Pillowghan square would make a pretty shrug.

:hook It is just 12 X 12 inch squares joined 4 X 3 then a cuff knitted at each end and then the seam sewn up a short way to form the sleeves..
It would be very easy to make bigger or smaller if necessary.:cheer
:hook The squares are pretty and seem to form a pretty pattern where they join.
Have fun.
I did find a nice pineaple patern on one of the web-sites, which would look lovely made this way.

Dot has a way to crochet a cuff right onto a piece so there's no sewing, that would be helpful for those who don't know how to knit.
