My daughter LOVES Lilo and Stitch, and now she loves dancing to Hawaiin music. So for her 3rd birthday I am trying to make her a Lilo "hula skirt" Since its not really a grass skirt in the movie, I am trying to make long "leaves". I have been working on it, but my leaves look more like paddles. Since I am new( and I mean NEW) to designing, I was hoping someone out here could help me make the perfect birthday gift. So can anyone help me create large leaves?
My plan is to make a few large leaves then join them onto a waistband. I hope to make matching wrist and ankle bands as well as the tube top Lilo wears in the movie.
ANY help or suggestions would be so appreciated!
Thanks!

Here's a leaf. It's small so you're going to have to increase it.

Here's another one:

You might find more here, which is where I found the leaves:

Those look like they could be useful. Any suggestions on increasing the small joined ones?
