Sometime last year I made a BAZILLION flower pins to put on purses and ponchos and such. You would think that the pattern would be forever engraved in my brain but, for the life of me I just can't remember the pattern. The flower started off in a strip and you kind of rolled it up and "ta da":2magic there was a flower to put on your project. I think it might have been a flower that someone here had posted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:)

There was also something similar to this in this years Crochet Calendar. I think it's in August but it's the same principle but looks more like a 3D rose as opposed to a flat one. I've made several from it...

This is my favorite flower to crochet. I have made so many of them that I have memorized the pattern. VERY easy to make! I have made them in all sorts of yarns and sizes- also if you make them in wool, they felt beautifully!

Thanks Lullabye_B. A girl can't have too many flower patterns to choose from.

OK, I'm trying to do the lionbrand one and its just not working. I don't think I get the "rolling up" part right. Could anyone maybe provide some assistance?
