Summer top insert

I remember seeing an insert for a summer top that uses regular fabric below and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I found this really funky cool material that just screams for a crocheted topping and straps.

I'm with you, Yammy. I'd like to see a pattern like that myself since I enjoy sewing also. In the 60's there were many patterns that incorporated crochet and fabric but I haven't seen them much this time.:)

Annies Attic had some patterns where you do crochet work on a ready made top.

there is an MSN geoup called Cwm Enfys Crochet, she inserts into everything, i am sure if you ask thhere, or look at some of her free patterns, there will be an exxplination:) Hope this helps.
