Does anyone know of any free barbie doll size furniture patterns to knit or crochet? I have seen a few on ebay, but wanted to check out the free ones first. Thanks, :manyheart

Wow, that's ironic!! I was just going to make a post asking for pretty much the same thing.

My mother has been making doll houses and has asked me to make some things for her for it. She's wanting little bedspreads, little rugs, doilies, maybe some things for the kitchen. I know I can make a few things on my own without a pattern but some of the other things I'm iffy on. I know I'll have to use thread to make it look 'real' as it is 1:12 scale (1" = 12")

The only patterns I've been able to find so far are for barbie dresses and such. I'd appreciate any help!

I know these aren't free, but you have both Barbie and minature furniture here.

Just a thought.:hook

Thanks Mary Jo. That looks like a good book.

I was going to bid on some patterns...but I see they have ended. I will keep my eyes open for them again.

In the mean time...if anyone still knows where to get free patterns for barbie doll furniture that would be great. I might even try my hand at designing some...hmmmm.:manyheart

Here's a fabric sofa--no sewing required. Maybe you could use the idea for a crocheted one.

Here's a sofa. It's actually a tissue box cover but every time I see it I think it'd make a cute Barbie couch if the hole was skipped or sewn up.

This may sound naive, but couldn't you just use a pattern for some chunky afghan (or whatever) and use thread to test the gauge and go from there?

She could except she's not making a Barbie afghan. She's wanting to make a Barbie couch and chair and things like that. ;)

I'm wanting to make some afghans, pillows, rugs, doilies, etc for a dollhouse. It's a great idea, thanks.
