Ok,,,,
I am thinking here...I am on the weight watcher plan...and I am thinking that if I could find a pattern...or maybe venture to make something of my own.../?? the latter is not a favored choice of mine...however....I am on the core program and have 35 points allowance for the week...if i had a daily reminder on my person...then, I could "tick" off the points as they are used!

Just use beads. Use enough for your points.

What about putting a charm with a clasp on it to seperate the ones you've used and the ones you haven't. Each time you use up a point, move the charm one point/bead over?

. I made quite a few of them when I was going to the meetings.Just do what Cheryl said. Move the charm as you use the points. Make the fith one a different color and you will know ever 5 points.

You could hang the charm on a spring ring that is smaller than the beads. Then, just open the spring ring and move that charm on down!

Thats a great idea - when I first joined WW I found it important to write down what I ate and how many points I used. Not sure why, but seeing it in writing helped me know exactly what I ate for the day, etc. :cheer

I am the same way auntbubbles I need to see what I ate to know that the points are all gone......lol......... I just love to eat......... :hook

I hear what you say about writing down what you eat.....however; this "week" I am doing the Core program...and the "plus" of the core is that the tedious point counting is replaced with core food list...and then a 35 pt allowance for "extras"...

so....here's what I came up with...i put one of those row counters from Knitting needles...on a Safety pin...and pinned that to my belt loop...and then I just roll it up to 35...and decrease the amount as I use them....no pattern needed, I guess!! ahaah

What about making a snug fitting bracelet using number beads (http://www.ortonage.com/beads/number-beads.htm)? As you use up your points, you could flip the beads, until you've got to 35.
You could make it as plain or colourful as you like.
