I've never been around babies so I have absolutely no idea what they need. And now my employer is having a big charity drive to get items for newborns and their mothers in third world contries who go home with absolutely nothing for their babies. I'd like to help, but I have absolutely no idea what to make or what's needed. Any patterns (especially quick and easy ones) would really be appreciated!

I think one of the best baby pattern sites around is www.bevscountrycottage.com (http://www.bevscountrycottage.com)

Bev's Country Cottage that was linked above is the site I always find myself referring back to. When going through her links, be sure to check for other patterns on the sites she links to. Sometimes there's newer stuff not on her list. :)
