For a lot of free patterns to go through, I'd start here:

CPC's Baby Category (http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/baby_clothing.php)

For gorgeous baby designs that aren't too hard:

Crochet Garden (http://www.crochetgarden.com)

Since you don't mind paying for patterns, I recently bought an Annie's Attic leaflet you might like. It's called Beautiful Baby Boutique. Lots of really nice dresses, a sweater, bonnet, and booties. I'm trying to decide which one to make first, so I don't know how easy the patterns are, but they are labeled intermediate.

If you haven't already, look at the little girl dress thread for the Sweetie Pie dress. You can make it for a 9-12 month old too.

If you want to invest a bit more money, I'd highly recommend buying either Candy Babies or Candy Tots by Candi Jensen. Or both! The patterns are quite easy but overall very nice looking, and though there are a few quirks in the instructions, they're quite easy to figure out. And, since all the patterns have a schematic along with instructions, you can probably come up with your own variances without much trouble. They're each $20 new.

I second www.luv2crochet.com (http://www.luv2crochet.com) and www.crochetgarden.com (http://www.crochetgarden.com). I've made a few things from each designer and the patterns are very easy and work up quickly (unless you're reading subtitles from Jin and Sun on LOST). I also have Candy Tots, very very cute patterns, but I haven't made anything from it - my daughter was too big when I purchased the book and I haven't had the time/knowledge to tweak anything to make it fit.
