Yep, it's another Easter Pattern! ;)
I came up with this placemat, it kind os matches the egg pillow I posted last week.
I've made 2 so far and they work up veery quickly. I plan on making 4, in 4 different Easter colors. So far I have yellow and pink. Next will be light purple and light blue.
Hop you like them, I put the pattern on my blog.
If anyone tries them let me know if you find any problems or typos.
Thanks for looking!:hug
Hehehe, forgot the link!! :lol

I did this quick pattern and it was fun to do it. I can't post a pic as of yet, since I am a newbie. I was following the pattern, and when I came to the dec sh part it wasn't coming out right (it looked lopsided) LOL! So what I did in the first sh, I did 1 dec sh, ch 1 then did the shells up to the last shell then did a ch-1, then did the last dec sh. And now it looks like an Easter Egg.

Hi Stormy. Ok, I've made 2 of them this morning and they are easy and wonderful! I am definately going to offer this for my next crochet class! I was thinking it would be neat to make a set of matching coasters. I'm going to try a smaller hook and maybe some sugar n cream and see what I come up with!

I'm glad you didn't have any problems with the pattern!!
I had the same thought about tryin to make coasters, but I probably would've used WW yarn...don't have the right colors in cotton.;)
Let me know how they work out.
