I wanted to make a poncho similar to the Crocheted Shawl (http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=86&d_id=13&lang=usv) at Drops Design, but I didn't like the pointiness of the flowers. So I designed a flower (http://funkyhooker.blogspot.com/2006/04/flower.html) myself. But then I abandoned the poncho idea. So I have a handful of flowers, that I'll end up attaching to various designs (like the Toddler Sundress (http://funkyhooker.blogspot.com/2006/04/toddler-sundress.html)).
Enjoy!

Well... I really like how that shawl looks but there is no directions for the flower they used unless you click on where it says to get to the original pattern in Norwegian... Isn't this odd?

BTW, I LOVE your flower! I have a toddler sundress "on my hook" right now! I couldn't find a cotton color that I liked at my local Wal-Mart (and can't get to A.C. Moore, Joann's or Michaels untill maybe next week) so I am using some Red Heart Giant in a pink/blue/purple verigation. It is actually soft (for Red Heart) and a thicker weight than most Red Heart Verigated yarns I have used.
I can see that little flower being used ALOT! Thanks!
