This is my first wearable. I just fell in love with this pattern and HAD TO try it. I had to make some modifications to fit my size (I'm about the size of a 11-year-old. :lol).

I hope the pictures post okay...

[Added in edit] My first couple of attempts to insert the images failed, because my user name in photobucket had a "4-letter word" in it. It's actually just part of my last name, but I guess Crochetville automatically replaces it with "****", so I couldn't post the pictures!

That is gorgeous! You did beautiful work -- it's hard to believe that this is your first wearable. You should really plan on doing a lot more. :-)

Turned out amazing... You will be wearing that a lot for spring and summer.. what a great pattern stitch ... love the pattern did you get it from a book?? That would look beautiful in a black metalic yarn for the holidays at the end of the year.. Think a shrug is easier to wear then a poncho or a shawl.. Easy to carry and easy to wear.

I think it's a bargain at $5, and $3 of that goes to a cancer awareness charity. Thanks to Robyn (fayettesmom) for such a great pattern! I encourage anyone interested to try it; it's for a good cause, the pattern is so pretty, and it goes very fast once you get the hang of it. Very gratifying all in all.

FYI, I used TLC Cotton Plus and an H hook.
