Still fiddling around today I had leftover so I made this for my MIL for Easter
It is listed as "Graceful Gothic Cross, from a library book I checked out called Big Book of Crochet "the best of Crochet with Heart Magazine"
Wasn't sure about the tassle but I made it anyway.:hook

Nice work! I have that book. I made the baby afghan made of flower motif. The name escapes me.

I like that and think it would be good in different colors too.
I was talking with one of my sister's yesterday and she told me that her son, who is almost 18, drew a 6' gothic cross on his bedroom wall. They are renting and when the manager saw that she wanted to know if it was done with an indelible marker. It was done in pencil so she heaved a sigh of relief then said she really liked it. :eek:lol

It is lovely and I like the tassel. Maybe if you made another one I would make the thread on the tassle a bit longer so it can hang out the bottom of the book.
I am sure you mum with appreciate that you made it for her.
