Hi, here are some of my recent thread projects. These are quick to make, and make nice little gifts. I made it both in size 8 and size 10 thread.

I featured the fan bookmark as my online project and the lip balm holder as my free pattern here (http://mycrochetstuff.blogspot.com/2006/04/latest-news-on-cotton-threads.html)on my blogpost. Thanks for looking!

I would just add this one too, since its also a quick one. :hook
Its actually a the motif on this doily (http://members.optusnet.com.au/we2/floral.html). I made it in a sunny color, I really didnt want to make 5 more of it, and make a big doily. :blush

I'll be checking out your lip balm holder pattern. The lids are always falling off, and then I have lip balm covered in felt and grit -- yuck! Looks like I'll have to try some thread crochet next!

The lip balm keychain is a great idea - I love the yarn ones but my chapstick never seems to stay in it. :think Maybe thread will work better!

And I LOVE the bookmark, too! Makes me want to take up thread again.

They look great, and I am getting increasingly envious at the array of beautiful variegations I am seeing the bookmark done in. I am pleased the pattern is working for others. I do get a kick out of making these these..
