These are my first few in crochet:

This is my frist Granny Square

And this flower square was the first time I followed a stich pattern

Good for you,,,you are on your way to make a blanket now. You can either make a bunch of squares or take one square and keep crocheting around it until it is afghan size....:clap

Your squares are very pretty. I crocheted for many, many years before I ever tried a granny square or read a pattern.

a granny square was the first thing I wanted to make when I learned to crochet this past christmas and now I can make a few different ones besides the basic one. Urs are lovely though.

As I recall, my first square was rather on the lumpy and asymmetrical side, so I'm very impressed with your work! And welcome to Crochetville too. You will love it here.
