Finally finished my project which I was able to show at the Urban Knit meet-up... really enjoyed myself and had the opportunity to meet some lovely people.. can't wait for the next meet-up... sorry I didn't take any pics there... was so busy participating in the knitting class... which was also cool.

that looks great!! so well put-together and sophisticated! I love the beige with the black. It's something that you could wear to work. I love it.

The stitch is great on the skirt, too.

Thank you all... initially I tried to follow the pattern for the skirt.. which is the Mesh Overskirt in The New Crochet book by Terry Taylor.. of course, I can't follow a pattern through to save my life and went out on my own with the rest of it... the shrug and handbag I worked up myself. Thanks again.

Sheila, that is so classy! I always look forward to your outfits because even though they are modern, hip, and "with it", they still have a feel of classic design to them.
