View Full Version : Multi-fiber necklace with beads

This necklace is inspired partly by my best buddy Fiona......I saw something similar at the trade show and wanted to make my own version. For the necklace part, I used acrylic yarns, suede-like yarn and eyelash yarn from the Sea of Yarn swap plus a strand of strung beads with butterflies, glass beads and seed beads. Flowers are of course in size 10 cotton thread. :hook This necklace is in my favorite colors: blues and greens. ;)

That's the prettiest necklace, Jackie. Those tiny flowers are a beautiful color. At first I thought they were beads also. What a dainty accessory! I wish I were in the swap too. :)

I love your necklace!:cheer I do some beading too, but I've never made one like yours.....I wish I had one..it's gorgeous! I love the flowers, they are so dainty and the whole pattern is unique.....gotta love it! You could see my necklaces on my blog, but they aren't as special as yours are.:D

Thank you Jackie....I don't have much confidence as a beader, because I haven't been doing it for very long. I only learned a tiny bit last summer when my neighbor got me involved. I haven't been beading lately though...too busy with my crochet projects. I've only got two hands, but wish I had eight, lol :D I will pm you for help when I get the chance to tackle that project.
