My latest WIP! Another Weasley Sweater!

I only have the first sleeve done but loved the way it turned out so much I just had to share it. I am testing this pattern for a friend of mine and am not following the colors exactly. I'm giving it my own feel. I am pretty sure I'm going to do the second sleeve with the same colors but in a different order so it'll be really wonky wild when finished!

Oh I think it is beautiful! I like your colors too. I have the pattern and was thinking of using ss too. Do you think it made the sleeves a smaller size? I found some nice cotton yarns in lighter weight, but was $6-10 a skein:eek ouch.

Donna, that is really amazing! I love this sweater as an example of what can be done with crochet. But I know I would never wear it. So instead of making it myself, I am enjoying looking at everybody else's interpretation of it!

I think the idea is really cool, I might use that one to design sleeves, even on less "colourful" garments ;)

I must say I am absolutely loving the gorgeous renditions of the Weasely sweater!

It was a gorgeous piece of 'crochet in the movies' and to see different people tackle what looks to be a fairly complex design is so much fun! They are all so adorable, and I must say there are some very talented designers on this site! I am amongst crochet royalty! I know Shelle (whose sweater I had seen first) has designs that are published, and then I saw another version of the sweater on Shelle's link (got confused but then realized it was someone else's version! .... oh, what was the name? I think Jo maybe *I'm sorry!*) And now THIS one!

Actually, this is Shelle's pattern I'm doing! I'm testing it for her! She's a very talented designer!

You know, I know many people that would never wear this sweater but it's so me! I've always been a little different so I love lots of colors!
