I've been looking for a heart afghan pattern that I like, but haven't found anything. I found one in a book at Hobby Lobby months ago that I really liked, but didn't have the $15 for the book. I still don't have the $15 for the book; and I don't have the oppurtunity to go to Hobby Lobby because I'm on the semi.

My little sis graduates on the 20th of May and I would like to put together an afghan for her. I wanted a pattern where the hearts are just crochetted right along with the background. (Needs to be free, sorry).

Please pass along anything you think might be in the ball park! I've got to get started so I can have it finished in time. If I can't find one I like, I'm thinking of getting overly creative again...got this thing in my head with white worsted weight base color and then Caron Simply Soft Watermelon for the hearts, but do the hearts in waffle weave to give it texture.

Still, I would appreciate patterns, since I don't know if my time line will allow for the creative process to end in a finished product.

Thanx!

Have you tried the public library? They sometimes have books with patterns that I want to try, but not buy. You could also try drawing a heart on graph paper and just work from there.

Thank you all so muchl!!! Empress, you did it! :clap You gave me a pattern that I LOVE :manyheart ...but you also gave me the graphing utility. My creative side won out, although I saved the one heart pattern I liked so much and will have to do it eventually!!! :hook

Again, thank you so much!!!
