Looking for Poncho with sleeves ??

My Aunt has asked me to make her a poncho and will pay me for it. We are wanting to have a poncho that has ribbing around the two sides so she can put her arms through to make a sort of sleeve. This is sort of what we are looking for. I am certain I have seen something somewhere before, just cannot remember where. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be easy enough to just modify your favourite pattern. Make the poncho. Then...make a chain as wide as you want the cuff, sc across in the number of rows required to go around the wrist. Then you can either stitch it closed and sew to the edge of poncho, or you could leave it open, sew on a button and then sew to the edge of poncho.
