There is a skirt that I have in my mind that I would love to make. It is made with pineapples. I have seen one that someone at my church purchased and it was pineapples from top to bottom and was adorable. I would like to find a pattern like that or similar. If possible in the bigger sizes because there is not size 12 or 16 here.:elle

This isn't a pineapple dress, exactly, but you might like this lace dress (http://www.interweave.com/knit/interweave_knits/pdf_files/crochet_LaceDress.pdf). It looks like it goes up to a bust size of 42"...

There is a pattern for a pineapple skirt that is full and also can be worn as a poncho. The pattern is on the Groovy crochet site. Let me see if I can find it. Maybe someone else here will have the link. I'll be back.

I think Dot has a beautiful pineapple poncho on her site that might work for a skirt!

I'm betting your friend got it at JC Penny's. I saw one in a sale paper and forgot to post about it.

Here's Dot's poncho:

Here's the one at the Groovy Crochet site:

Thanks I really like the one on the groovy site but I wonder how I could make it so it wasn't so full? Any suggestions anyone? Also I wonder how it would be in #10 thread?

Oh thank you, Empress Busy Bee, for posting the Groovy pattern site. I have searched and searched and could not find it.

The Groovy site is archived so you have to access it that way. The site is no longer being maintained.

Some sites just disappear, so if there is a pattern on there that you want, I suggest you print it out asap.
