Looking for an old pattern that is a crocheted hat for the door. It was really simple and I believe used mostly double crochet. After it was crocheted, a empty cool whip container was put inside the top part of the hat and then the entire hat was attached to a 12 or 14 inch flat round straw mat if I remember correctly. Then you could decorate it with ribbons, bows, flowers, etc... Thanks!

The bowl is just used for molding the hat as it stiffens, but of all I saw, this was the closest to what you described.

No that wasn't the one I remember. Tho that is a very pretty one. Thank you so much for looking. I have a feeling I'm going to have to try to remember it. It was actually very very easy.
