Hey gals, I just popped in to let you know that I will have a booth at a festival tomorrow! I'm still racing to get some more baby bonnets made. I'm also going to have some plants from around the yard (day lillies, snow on the mountain and lamiam) So I have a lot to get ready for that.
And David (OLder brother) is running for Precint Deligate so he has a spot in the parade. We will all be in it. So we have a busy weekend~!
Hopefullly I'll sell some items. "see" you later!

Thanks!
I need some advice if possible. I have sets of baby blanets booties and bonnets for tomorrow. I'm not sure what to price them!
Any ideas? At all. What would you pay for it, if you couldn't crochet it!?
Thanks!

Hey Rebbeca, saw you were in the chat room. Sorry to miss you. I did want to talk price with anyone available. I have the blankets for 30 Here (http://www.yourcrafts.com/ambersafghans.htm)
And I was thinking a bit higher for the set. But let me know what you think.

I think $25 for the set would be a good starting point. Price the more advanced stitched items a little higher (I wouldnt go over $30 for the set). What would you rather get, 3 or 4 sales at $25 each, or one sale at $35-40? That's how I look at it when selling items.

*Oh, I wanted to say Good Luck tomorrow and Have Fun!!

Good Luck tomorrow with your booth.

You can always start out with a higher price and offer to come down if they are not selling the way you would like.

If I know the phrase, but don't remember where it's from does that mean I'm not old or does it mean I'm having a way-too-young-to-be-having-a-senior-moment-moment?? :p

Hi Everyone!
The festival went fine. The parade was great! I'll give it to you quick because I am behind on my afghan.
David is running for Precinct Deligate. So we stapled David sunflower seed packets to the lit. We got them in 5 gallon buckets, so The kids played the buckets with Sousa playing. They also wore the letters D A V I D on their backs.
David held the babies hands (3 and 4) while they wore VOte for my brother signs. Danielle, Mom, Dad and I handed out the lit and some candy!
So that was great. At my booth I sold two pairs of ladies slippers and a baby blanket! The baby set pictues should be up on my web page sometime soon.
I have just gotten another inquiary about a custom afghan. I may be booked until Christmas if this works out! I've go to go work on the afghans not! Thanks!
