I started out to make the spiderwebskirt by Josi Hannon http://www.weirdmirror.org/patterns.htm , but I had to much on my mind to get the pattern right:no
That is why it turned out like this instead :blush
I will get it right the next time:hook
My friends at a Norwegian forum said I could wear and not frog it, so I will give it a try.

I prefer yours to be honest. More demure and wearable.

Oh, I bought that pattern too, but haven't even thought to tackle it yet!

I think what you did is really cute - and it looks good on you, too! You have a figure where you can pull off the form-fitting top portion, and then the flair at the bottom is really attractive!

I like it! Don't frog it! You did a great job!

It's GORGEOUS!!!

I'd wear it (if it were MY size!:lol ) even though I'm probably twice the size you are. Just as long as I had a long top to hide the hideous parts! :lol

Definitely DO NOT frog it! And hey... if you really want to make the skirt as the pattern called for, you can always do it in a different color, and then you have TWO gorgeous skirts to wear!:hook

Your skirt looks awesome, who cares that it didn't turn out like it was suppose to. Sometimes mistakes end up turning into something great.

Wow, both versions are incredible! The sexier version looks hot in black...great for a summer's night out on the town...but your version in blue is perfect for anytime of day of the year...it's CLASSY!!

By the way, I love your blog - and look forward to reading more of it.

Hey! I just finished the same skirt (I was about to post pics!!). I love love LOVE your version. I have no idea how you did that many rows of SC. You must have a lot of patience!!!

I was not a big fan of the pattern. I had a lot of problems with it. But, the results are pretty cool. I'll post mine in another thread.

I love your version. It looks very elegant. I love the shape.
