I have 7 grand nieces and nephews, 3 are boys and 4 are girls. I made tops for the girls that I just posted in the clothing for children area, but had a hard time deciding what to do for the boys.

I ended up making them pouches - they are ages 15, 12 and 7.

I made a cd pouch, a game boy pouch, and a pencil/pen pouch, all in Bernat Comouflage. I added a handle to two of them with buttons so that they can attach them to something if they wanted. I used velcro for fastening.

wow those are nice I also have that yarn and I have been wondering what to do with it. I may make a small purse or something b/c the boys in my family thinks crocheted stuff is for girls no matter what it is.

When I saw "pouches" I thought about little purses. DUH!! Yours are perfect for the boys. They are always caring around some kind of electronics. Great Job!!
