So glad you all enjoy this pattern so much :) I like that it stretches nicely to fit larger heads too.

I love this pattern, worked up beautifully. Question---how would I make this in an adult size? Thanks

I use a size K hook to make an adult size small cap - maybe try an M hook? I dont own an M hook, do they make M hooks? LOL

They make an L, M, N, P and Q. I own all and have used them all. The Q hook was very strange to use, things huge. You make the Lion Brand Chenille Boa with it. Anyway, just increase a hook size for a hat size (basically), Thanks so much:ty

Pretty much :) I use a G hook for infant sizes (18" head approx.), size I hook for my 4 yr old (who has a big head) and 6 yr old (who has a small head lol), and K hook for my small head. Though I think my husband said I have an extra small head :P I crochet a little tightly too I've been told, so a size K or L would probably work if you crochet loosely.

Deneen... I made the hat in an adult size, though it was an accident lol. I used a K hook for it if I remember correctly, you can see the pic on my blog...

Okay, I used the K hook and it fit my 5 year old. I couldn't get it on my head for nothing! I'm going to try the M hook next and see how that goes. Okay, M hook worked perfectly!
