Well....I finally finished it. And I am quite pleased with the results! This pattern was a bear...the directions were not well written to say the least, and I had to frog it several times. But anyway, I digress. It was a challenge, but it is so rewarding to know I conquered it!
Here it is sprawled out on my coffee table:

And here it is hanging up:

Thanks everyone! I just figured out how to make the images clickable, so you can see them a bit bigger, but I had already resized them, so they are not as clear as they could be...
But I really appreciate the great feedback!!

That's a great job on that vest! Is it the same one I made here (http://www.wolfcrochet.com/page4.html)? I used Paton's Grace. I agree that the instructions were a little hinky in places but I've been crocheting for a long time and have learned to trust my own opinions on how something should be done!:lol It's good that you persevered because that is how experts are made!:hug

Roli,
Thanks for the compliment! Yes, it looks like the same one! I definitely agree with you on this one, I had to trust my instincts and just figure it out as I went. And yes, I used Paton's Grace as well. It is sooo nice to work with, isn't it?
By the way, your work is very nice. Thanks for sharing.
